Art from the Edge of the Continent

Point Reyes Gallery showcases the work of artists who live, work, and find inspiration in the landscapes of West Marin. From the fog-draped ridgelines above Olema to the wind-sculpted cliffs at Chimney Rock, this peninsula has attracted painters, photographers, and sculptors for generations. Our gallery in Point Reyes Station brings their work together in a single space.

• Plein Air West Marin — Oil and watercolor landscapes painted on location in the fields, beaches, and forests of Point Reyes
• Coastal Abstracts — Large-scale abstract works inspired by ocean colors, tidal patterns, and the textures of weathered driftwood
• Botanical Illustrations — Detailed studies of the native wildflowers and grasses found throughout the seashore

Mixed Media & Sculpture

• Found Object Works — Assemblages crafted from driftwood, wire, shells, and other materials collected on West Marin beaches
• Ceramic Landscapes — Handbuilt ceramic forms that echo the rolling terrain of Tomales Bay and Inverness Ridge

Exhibitions

Point Reyes Gallery hosts rotating exhibitions throughout the year, with opening receptions on the first Saturday of each month. Past exhibitions have explored themes including the marine environment of Tomales Bay, the cultural history of the Coast Miwok, and the changing seasons of the pastoral landscape.

Point Reyes Gallery is located on Main Street in Point Reyes Station. We're open Thursday through Monday, 11 AM to 5 PM. The gallery is within walking distance of local restaurants, bookstores, and the weekly farmers' market.
